Paul Basham Associates attended the Lambert Smith Hampton Touch Rugby Tournament at Winchester Rugby Club.
This is the 6th consecutive year that the Bashbarians have taken part in the tournament, with the squad comprising of our friends from McCarthy & Stone, Turley and Ground and Water. Team morale was high throughout and despite the Bashbarians not progressing out of the group, the team showed a particular strength in their defensive line with a number of closely contested games being played. A special mention to the outstanding teamwork between Mervyn McFarland from Turley and Rob Terrell from Ground and Water which led to the ‘Bashbarians’ securing the win against Space.
It is safe to say a good afternoon was had by all with the team enjoying a hard-earned pint in the sun. The Bashbarians look forward to competing next year!
