At Paul Basham Associates, Southampton is where our story began. Since opening our first office on the outskirts of the city in 2009, to having our first major project being with Southampton Football Club, we’ve grown steadily, supporting businesses locally and nationally with expertise in transport planning, civil engineering, and structural engineering. Throughout this journey, our connection to the Southampton region has remained at the heart of who we are. That’s why we’re proud to continue our Regional Partnership with Southampton Football Club and why heading into our third year together is such a proud milestone for us.

As Transport Planners and Travel Plan Coordinators we have to consider sustainable travel opportunities at every step of the way, at the early local plan promotion through to supporting a planning application and then implementing the Travel Plan as the Travel Plan Coordinator.

At Paul Basham Associates, we are pleased to have recently provided transport planning assistance to help achieve two successful planning condition variations at Broadley Copse Farm in Funtington and Blendworth Hills in Horndean. While the sites and land uses were very different – one focused on an anaerobic digester and the other on residential development – both projects required careful technical input to ensure planning conditions could be varied without compromising the surrounding transport network or the needs of the local community.
