Comer Comes on-board and we're sure Louis Cornell will do corn-Well

We are delighted to announce that John Comer and Louis Cornell have joined the Civil Engineering team at Paul Basham Associates!

John started his engineering career in August 2015 shortly after he completed his A levels. Over the years John gained experience from a wide range of civil engineering projects and acquired the skills needed to drive a number of advanced software packages, as well as developing relationships with clients and the wider project teams. John has experience in drainage network design, vehicle swept path analysis, external works layouts and evaluating earthwork schemes.

John’s hobbies include technology, gaming (of both the video and board variety), walking and having a lazy Saturday/Sunday at home with his partner Lauren and cat Pepper. He is also keen on travelling and is anticipating getting on a plane again next year.

Louis started his engineering career in 2016 as a Trainee Structural Engineering Technician, where he gained valuable knowledge of the construction industry. After four years he wanted a change, and decided to explore a new route into Civil Engineering. Louis then joined Paul Basham Associates in 2021 as a Civil Engineering Technician and is enjoying his time working on new modelling software such as Microdrainage and Site3D. He is also on day release at the University of Portsmouth hoping to graduate in 2023 in Civil Engineering!

Louis enjoys exploring new places, attending festivals/gigs and seeing his mates whenever possible. He keeps fit in the week by going to the gym in the mornings before work, and plans to go abroad on holiday with friends and family when it is safer to do so.
