We are thrilled to announce that Jake Styles has joined our Civil & Structural Engineering team as a Structural Engineer in the Southern Office!
Jake is a qualified Structural Engineer who is experienced in a mixture of large and small commercial projects. He has previously worked on prestigious award-winning developments alongside complex rebuilds which utilise existing structures. His specialties include finite element analysis (FEM), Computer aided design (CAD) and construction inspections.
He has worked in various roles from starting his career as a technician progressing to resident engineer where he supervised the construction process, undertook inspections of new and existing structures, and provided structural solutions where required. He is excited to join Paul Basham Associates and grow the structures team.
On the weekends you will find Jake at various race circuits across the UK. He has been building and racing cars nationally since he turned 16 and is looking to compete in his new Audi TT Cup car this year. If it is stormy, you may find him surfing at East Wittering or going down the side of a mountain on his snowboard.
