Wyndmere Park, Steeple Morden

Paul Basham Associates were pleased to assist our client to support a full planning application for a commercial development comprising 530sqm at Wyndmere Park, Steeple Morden.   

The Brief

Paul Basham Associates were tasked with supporting the planning application from a transport and highways perspective through the submission of a Transport Statement.

Our Approach

As a starting point Paul Basham Associates undertook a site visit to assess the development site. As part of the first stage of works a number of documents were consulted to identify policy and regulations that are required to be met by the proposed development. Paul Basham Associates provided input and assisted with the design of the access arrangement to ensure that the development met the expectations of the highway authority and that the appropriate visibility was available for the change in use to the site. We also provided swept path analysis of the internal layout to ensure it was suitable for its intended purpose.

The Result

The scheme received consent in August 2022, and we look forward to seeing the site progress.
